Are you one of those people who loves to dress up for Halloween, but you don't want to look like you opened up a packaged costume and threw it on? I completely envy those people who have the uber creative gene, and can create the most amazing looks out of random pieces. That's not me. I need a little creative help.

I've found some really fun ideas online that you can create from your thrifty Goodwill finds. And you can brag a little bit and tell people you made it yourself! Check out these looks that I found at Goodwill of Central Indiana! Thank you for sharing your photos!

Combine some green makeup and a body suit with a Hawaiin shirt and flips flops, and you can be an Alien Tourist

To create the Alient Tourist look, they have found a Skin Suit. If you can't find a green skin suit, apply some green face make-up, a long-sleeve green shirt, green gardening or knit gloves, green leggings, and green tube socks (or dye a pair of white tube socks green). Add a floppy sun hat, sunglasses, a Hawaiin shirt, camera, khaki cargo shorts or pants, and sandals, and Voila!

Create that strong Viking look and be the envy of your fellow

To create this look, all you need is a blonde long wig, a leather/pleather vest, suede skirt (distress the edges with a pair of scissors to give it a rugged look), brown leggings and your comfy boots. Complete the look with a toy dragon.

Create a totally unique look with this steampunk costume!

What a fun look! Look for a fun little shift dress in dark or earthy tones, with some lace or ruffles. Layer that over stripes.... Striped tights. A striped blouse. Add a chunky bracelet, some goggles (spray paint the rims of a pair of swim goggles with metalic spray paint to create your own), pull on a pair of chunky booties, and top it with a curly wig.
