Let's face it, bow ties are cool! Here's how to fold that necktie find from Goodwill into something that's always appropriate.
Fold over and insert the thickest end of the tie into the label.
Take remaining fabric and fold it over.
Bring it back the other way.
Fold it one last time. Each end has two loops.
Pinch underside seam through top layer.
While pinching, flip the remaining tie over the top.
Thread the remaining tie under the newly created loop, pinch and tighten tie.
Create neck loop and tuck the end through the loop holding the tie's shape.
When the tie is flipped over, this is what it will look like.
Shape the fabric by pinching and tightening as desired.
Put the neck loop around the head and tighten it by pulling the loose end.
To secure, fold the loose end under the neck loop.
Flip the collar down over the top of the neck loop after the desired appearance is achieved.
