We believe in excellence, transparency, and continual improvement. In the pursuit of excellence, Goodwill is reviewed regularly by the national nonprofit Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission  (CARF). CARF is an independent accreditation agency, leading the field in standards of excellence for social services.

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest has consistently received the maximum period of accreditation – three years – for the following services:

  • Employment Planning Services
  • Vocational Evaluation Services
  • Community Employment Services: Job Development, Job Supports, & Job-site Training
  • Service Coordination

Goodwill’s current accreditation was awarded in October 2017 following an intense examination by CARF surveyors who scrutinize operational aspects of the organization, from management to safety
to service delivery.

“We need to embrace being a learning agency, not a knowing agency.”
Clark Brekke, President/CEO, Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest
