Goodwill taking on Representative Payee clients served by CAPS
(Coeur d’Alene, ID) – This week, Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest’s Representative Payee Services office in Coeur d’Alene began serving approximately 200 clients previously served by CAPS in Coeur d’Alene. CAPS closed their doors in late January.
Goodwill was contacted by the Social Security Administration the third week of January, and asked if the agency could take on CAPS’ clients. Goodwill offers Representative Payee services in Coeur d’Alene and Lewiston, Idaho and Spokane, Moses Lake, East Wenatchee, Washington.
Goodwill has brought additional staff to Coeur d’Alene from its other offices to handle the additional client load as these new individuals get set up with Goodwill.
In order to establish with Goodwill, individuals need to bring in their identification, and list of any creditors. If you have questions, please call 208-664-5954 ext. 2.
Goodwill will hire an additional full-time Representative Payee to serve those individuals who have been transferred over from CAPS.
