Minimum |
Bachelor’s
degree in elementary education or Early Childhood Education with at least 9
credits in Business Administration, minimum three years experience in
supervision as well as childcare administration (including billing and record
keeping); and knowledge in NAEYC & state
licensing standards. This position requires strong leadership &
problem-solving abilities and excellent written/verbal communication skills
with a proficiency in team-building. Must be able to pass background, credit,
and driver’s checks; have valid driver’s license; and proof of insurance.
Child development knowledge and experience working with children in a center
type setting. Demonstrated knowledge of children and how to meet their needs.
Ability to maintain objectivity, tack and sense of “fair play”. Must be able
to move about the department, bend, stoop and get
down to floor level and up repeatedly throughout the day. Be able to
regularly lift 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. occasionally. |

Job |
Oversee
the hiring, training and development of leads, assistant teachers, and
children of the childcare center. Consistently meet and maintain all company,
state, federal, licensing, and accreditation requirements. Coordinate
department personnel functions according to company policies and procedures
to include training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and
recordkeeping. Maintain positive relationship with staff, children, parents,
and the community. |
